The course deals with the European legal provisions of labor law. First of all, I would like to deal with the constitution of the single market relevant to labor law (free movement of workers and freedom to provide services) as well as the functioning of European law in general and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union relevant to labor law. Subsequently, individual aspects of European labor law will be
presented: Anti-discrimination law, tranfer of business and undertakings, fixed-term employment contracts, temporary work, health and safety at work and the conflict of laws on employment contracts.
